Well the end of the year is almost upon us, but rather than looking back, I want to draw attention to a new initiative that has been developed jointly between 24-7 Prayer and Alpha International. Its name is Kingdom Come 2012. Nicky Gumbel, the vicar of Holy Trinity Brompton church in London, sums it up:
‘Kingdom Come is an exciting partnership between 24-7 Prayer and Alpha to mobilise prayer across the UK and Ireland throughout 2012. Prayer is the power behind our vision to see the re-evangelisation of the nations and the transformation of society and so I’m thrilled that in 2012 we are going to be praying like never before.’
Hopefully Kingdom Come will provide an opportunity to unite churches and Christians in seeking God’s will for this country and the nations beyond it. We need to pray earnestly for His kingdom to continue to grow and powerfully change the world we live in.
The launch is tonight at Holy Trinity Brompton. If you want to find out more about it all, everything you need to know is on the Kingdom Come website.
